As the owner of Sansone Jr’s 66 Automall and PMB Group (www.tier4market.com), I’ve been practicing what I preach. I am teaching my salespeople how to market themselves by using low-cost tools such as salesman’s websites (EZ Connect) and using social media. I’ve simply reallocated my advertising budget to focus on those media that help bring the best ROI.
In February/March 2015, my dealership saw a 77% increase in website visitors, 35% increase in showroom ups and 44% increase in sales compared to last year. In April 2015, we expect to have at least a 30% increase in sales compared to last year.
An Auto Dealer for over 25 years, I ran the day-to-day operations of Sansone Auto Network (top 50 nationally) for 12 years. My primary responsibility was for Sansone's Rt 1 Automall, which was a 7-franchise (Toyota, Hyundai, Suzuki, Nissan, Lincoln Mercury, Mazda, Jeep), 26-acre auto mall in central New Jersey. I took over the operations in 1998 with an annual retail sales volume of 4,000 cars. By the end of 2009, I increased my annual retail sales volume to 10,000 units per year, with several individual months over 1,000 units. In addition, I had a stable management staff and high Customer Service Index.
I separated from my family’s business and bought Sansone Jr's 66 Automall (Nissan, Kia) in December 2009. This resulted in a 2010 increase of over 40% in sales with significant profit improvements. During that time I have also opened 66MVP, an automobile customize and accessory operations, and PMB Marketing LLC.
