Skylar VanScoyoc is the Vice-President of Operations and Co-Owner of Resurrection Automotive in Crawfordsville, Indiana. Born and raised in Crawfordsville, Skylar’s life has been intricately woven with the automotive world, inspired by her father’s career in car dealerships. From a young age, Skylar demonstrated a keen interest in leadership and cars, vividly recalling an elementary school project where she chose to draw a car dealership, a unique choice reflecting her early passion.

Skylar pursued higher education at Indiana University – Indianapolis, achieving a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and Psychology in May 2022. Her academic journey was distinguished by making Dean’s List, while also balancing her studies with a demanding work schedule in the restaurant industry. Starting as a server, she quickly advanced to bartender and then to a managerial role, all while maintaining high academic standards.

After college, Skylar embarked on a career as an Account Executive at Aramark Uniform Services before embracing the opportunity to join forces with her father in establishing Resurrection Automotive. Driven by her personal experiences and a desire to enhance the car buying process, Skylar aims to revolutionize customer perceptions of car dealerships. Emphasizing a philosophy of ‘Love Others Serve Others,’ she is committed to creating a positive, memorable experience for every customer. As she watches their dealership transform from a concept to reality, Skylar is enthusiastic about merging her passions for cars and customer service into a fulfilling career.
